John Porter

 

Hi my name is John Porter and I am 68 Years Old.

 

I was born in Sydney and Lived at Revesby from the age of 4 we lived in a tent till my father built a garage to live in then our house. I went to East Hills Boys High School till year ten.

 

I served a apprenticeship of wood machining and carpentry with a firm that fitted out all Woolworths Store in Australia I went on to be made foreman eighteen months after completing my apprenticeship.

 

I conducted my own building Business for over twenty five years mainly doing extensions and some new homes and some built-in furniture and kitchens.

 

I have an interest in Soccer both outdoor and indoor I have been on the committee of Club and Association in the various positions as President and treasurer. I have refereed indoor soccer up to international level.

 

 I have been married for 46 years and have 3 children & 4 grandchildren.
