John Fielder

 

Title: Vice Chairman

 

John, who is married to Cathy with 2 children and 6 grandchildren is a founding member of PHAR.

 

He was the co-founder of Habitat for Humanity Macarthur which began in 1993 where he had been a keen volunteer working on many home builds over several years. John, who is a well known local identity in the Campbelltown area, was the founding president of Macarthur SWAP (Sales person with a purpose) and held many positions during his 12 years with the sales motivated program.

 

He has always been involved in sales and after World Book Encyclopaedias in 1977 worked his way through all levels of management to become Divisional Manager. In 1990, after the company restructered, John formed a partnership wtih his wife Cathy to become 'User Friendly Books'.

 

John's community services were recognised in 2007 when he received the Campbelltown Rotary Club 'Volunteer of the Year' Award.

 

We congratulate John and value his dedication to Partner Housing. John is an active member of Macarthur Gideons Society and the local Christian Brethren Church.
