Horst Reimann

 

Title: Treasurer

 

Horst came to Australia from Germany in 1957 after completing his apprenticeship as Baker and Pastry Cook. Horst first became a volunteer for PHAR in 1997 (formerly Habitat for Humanity Macarthur) helping to build their very first home in Campbelltown. Horst joined the Board shortly afterwards and since then has held the position of honorary Treasurer very competently .

 

After retiring from a varied career covering such diverse areas as Production Planning and Supervision, Project Scheduling and Costing, Shipping and Customs culminating as Senior Accountant and Asst. Financial Controller for an international engeering company some years ago, Horst has been actively involved with Partner Housing for twelve years.

 

Horst gets great satisfaction in working alongside other volunteers, having been involved in every PHAR home built to date in the Macarthur area.

 

Horst resides in the picturesque coastal town of Shoalharbour and commutes regularly to work on home builds and attend Board meetings and is an invaluable member of Partner Housing Regional.
